Board Chair
Mark joined the TriCert Financial Group Board in 2020 and became Board Chair in 2024. Mark has over 35 years of experience in the professional services industry, serving as Firm Managing Partner of a large regional accounting and advisory firm where he was responsible for all operational aspects of the firm and the implementation of strategic initiatives. Mark also assisted individual and corporate clients with their income and commodity tax planning and compliance needs.

Sam joined TriCert Financial Group in 2016 and has held a number of senior leadership positions across the organization, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer. As President and Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for leading TriCert’s strategic direction, fostering its culture, and supporting the exceptional team that serves clients and accounting firm partners across Canada.
With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, accounting, operations, governance, and regulatory oversight, Sam brings a broad perspective to the leadership of the firm. Throughout his career at TriCert, he has played a key role in the organization’s growth, operational development, and commitment to delivering high-quality wealth management solutions for clients.
Sam is passionate about building strong teams, creating scalable organizations, and strengthening the integration between TriCert and its accounting firm partners. He is committed to ensuring the firm continues to provide trusted advice, exceptional client service, and long-term value for clients, employees, and stakeholders.
